Saeed is a self taught artist born and raised in the colorful city of Tehran, Iran. At a very young age he discovered his passion for art through the use of charcoal and pencil. These charcoal drawings were his first form of expression and he continued to develop his skills in these mediums.
After leaving Tehran, Saeed moved to Minneapolis, Minnesota where he studied Graphic Design at Hennepin College. Here he found his true mediums while working with oils and pastels. He enjoyed the vibrancy of the pigments with their richness and softness, as it helped him to communicate various emotions or movements with the interchanging of colors and shapes.
Once Saeed completed his studies at Hennepin College, he resided in Orange County, California where he exhibited his work in various art venues.
Saeed finds he relates the most to the artist Salvador Dali. The themes in his artwork also cover surrealism, sense of self, and unique perceptions.
